- She is the wife of artist
Claude Clark (printmaker and easel painter). Rev. Daima
is a scholar in African philosophy and African religious
principles. In 1939 she graduated from the University Of
California Berkeley, with a bachelor degree in philosophy
and minor in public speaking. At Howard University Rev.
Daima studied under Alain Locke and Howard Thurman. She
received her master's degree in philosophy in 1941. In
1967 she received two additional Masters degrees in
theology and religious education from Pacific School of
Religion. 1974 she was ordained by the Alamo Black
Clergy.
She has served as editor on
some portions of this manuscript.
