- It was Clark's involvement in art projects such as the
class year book of 1935 that helped him win an art scholarship to art school. He was a very good figure and landscape draftsman, but his
lettering could have stood a little improvement.
This is one of the strangest year books. Images and text
are all done on photographic paper. The year book content is viewed from one side of each
page rather than both sides. In 1998 the pages in this book still lay flat and are not
curled on the edges. You can view the year book several times with out being aware that
the year book is a photograph book rather than photo-offset book. The magician that did the photographs, some how
managed to keep the viewer's mind focused on content rather than the process.
