The picture above was taken about 1937, when Clark was in his second year in art school at Pennsylvania Museum School of Industrial Art. It is a tintype photograph print. Tintypes are much different than other photographs in that they are always printed backwards. The scan for this web page was flipped in reverse so that the photograph would print correctly.
