- OTHER WEBS
- You can search topics related to Africa, outside this web
site without leaving African Metropolis. On each major page in this document, there are a
set of web search engines, specializing in topics related to African people. These search
engines are Woyaa African Search and Black Seek Search Engine.
- OUR WEB
- You get the best of four worlds when you navigate this web
site. There are text menus, map icons and a site search engine for public use.
- If you choose Africa from a text
menu and you wish to see a selection of topics for Africa
then you must click on "African Web". When you are finished then click on
"Go to the top"; chose "Other Web Pages" and make your new selection.
Should you decide to travel by picture icons, you will find that this method
is the easiest method to navigate this web site. Titles, captions; directions are all
straight forward. Note: your browser must be able to read the text labels inside the
icons. Microsoft Explore 4.0 and Communicator can do that.
We have chosen a few samples of our best sites and put
them in a drop-down menu for
your quick viewing.
The site search engine is the "crawler type". It will give you every thing this web
site has to offer. You must type a key word, or phase, then activate "start
search" to find out if the information is available.
3D OBJECT PRESENTATION
There are thee types of computer internet
user interfaces; character user interface, graphical user interface and 3D object user interface. We use all three types. This page is an example of graphical user
interface. In May of 1999 we joined forces with Nanocosm,
Incorporated (a virtual reality web site company) to produce
our first 3D presentation ever. On Friday May 28th we launched a 3D Museum.
